I had read negative reviews and almost didn't get this one but the 4 books I had read previously by Daly had kept. A good deal of the book’s focus is on Karen Bloom, the mother of the trophy child of the piece. Bronte yes! is the unfortunate year-old offspring of Karen and her physician husband, Noel.
